Volunteering in Philippines

Support my GoFundMe campaign as a disaster relief volunteer in the Philippines! Or, tell a friend!

Here is a link to an introductory video. I have wanted to volunteer in the Philippines ever since typhoon Haiyan left a path of death and destruction in November, 2013. I donated money to charitable organizations, but I also wanted get involved doing hands-on work. Finally, I have my chance to go there and do what I can to help.

Thankfully, I have the opportunity to join with All Hands Volunteers providing disaster relief work. However, volunteering isn’t cheap. Expenses, such as travel, accommodations, and other miscellaneous costs, add up quickly.

I created a campaign on GoFundMe to defray some of those expenses. A crowd-funding platform such as GoFundMe ensures transparency, showing exactly how each dollar is spent. My goal is to raise $2,500. Your contribution will reduce my costs, and any excess will go directly to charitable organizations providing disaster relief in the Philippines.

I will of course do my best to update Christian’s Chronicles as much as I can on the progress of the work and related matters. Thank you in advance for your support.
